V2.0 Beta

Hi,

First I want to thank you for your great work in this framework.

I think it is very potential and everybody should use it :)

There is a little problem in the database generation script.
It tries to backup the LOG with TRUNCATE_ONLY.

In SQL 2008 this is obsolute.

The BACKUP LOG WITH NO_LOG and WITH TRUNCATE_ONLY options have been discontinued. If you are using the full or bulk-logged recovery model recovery and you must remove the log backup chain from a database, switch to the simple recovery model.

I managed to do a work around by simply change the code in the .load project by this:

SqlPreCommand command = Administrator.TotalGenerationScript();
command.OpenSqlFileRetry();

And then edit the script file in SQL Management Studio.

Hi Hans,

In order to do that you have to set the DBMS property in your conection object, like this;

ConnectionScope.Default = new Connection(connectionString, sb.Schema, dqm) { DBMS = DBMS.SqlServer2008 };

This should fix the problem.

We currently use SQL Server 2005 so notice us if you find any other inconvinience regarding 2008.
